There’s a million ways to make your own granola at home. This is one of our go-to favorites that you should keep in your baking routine! Sprinkle it on top of yogurt and parfaits, toss a handful of it in a bag for an on-the-go snack, enjoy it with milk… it’s delicious any way. Plus, it’s so simple, you’ll be asking yourself why you didn’t make it sooner.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup real maple syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 300° F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk the olive oil and maple syrup together. Add spices and whisk again. Add oats and chopped nuts and stir to combine.
  3. Spread evenly on prepared baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes, stirring halfway through.

Store leftovers in a mason jar at room temperature for up to a week.

*Note: You can also use sprouted oats- just increase baking time by about 10 minutes and add 1/4 cup more olive oil.
